How to play Gamlet Trivia

Gamlet Trivia gives you six clues about one video game, hardest first. Guess it early for the flex; use all six if you must. One game per day, same for everyone, new at your local midnight.

The rules

• Clue 1 is visible from the start — always an emoji riddle.
• Each wrong guess (or skip) reveals the next clue. Skips count as guesses.
• The clue ladder: emoji riddle → year + platforms → genre + a signature mechanic → developer → a review-style one-liner → an anagram or initials.
• Type to search — abbreviations work (GTA V, BotW, CS:GO).
• Solving on clue 1 or 2 is the brag. The share grid shows how early you got it.

Strategy

• Emoji riddles usually encode the title literally, not the gameplay. Read them twice.
• Year + platform narrows brutally: a 1998 PC-only game is a tiny pool.
• Weekday answers are all-time famous titles; weekends can go cult. Don't overthink Mondays.
• Skip strategically: if clue 2 means nothing to you, the developer clue may crack it instantly.
