How we verify: the Gamlet Check
Every game on this site carries a badge that says exactly how deeply it was checked and when. There are three tiers, and a badge never claims a deeper tier than the work that was actually done.
The three tiers
Auto-checked
An automated liveness check runs monthly against every listed game: the page must load, the game must boot in a plain browser, and it must not redirect to an app-store or forced install. This is the baseline every entry must pass to stay listed. The badge reads “Auto-checked” with the date of the last passing run — nothing more is claimed.
Replayed
A rotating subset of games is replayed by hand: actually played, in a real browser, long enough to confirm the gameplay still matches what our list says about it — load time, ad pressure, sign-up walls, the lot. The badge reads “Replayed” with the date of that session.
Cashout-verified
Games that claim to pay real money get the only test that means anything: we play, we request a cashout with our own account, and we record whether the money arrives, by what method, and how many days it takes. Cashout checks run on a rolling schedule and every cashout-verified game is re-verified at least annually. Until our cashout lands, a pay game is marked “Testing” — never “paid.”
When a game gets removed
A game comes off our lists when any of these happens:
- It fails two consecutive liveness checks (dead link, broken boot, endless loader).
- It starts forcing an app install, account creation, or payment to reach the gameplay we recommended.
- Its ad load or dark patterns change enough that our original note would mislead you.
- A pay game misses a payout, changes its cashout terms retroactively, or our re-verification fails.
Removals are never silent. Every one is published with a date and a reason in the removal log, and lists show what was removed from them.
Corrections
If we got something wrong — a stale claim, a wrong load time, a game that behaves differently in your region — tell us and we will re-check it. Verified corrections are fixed on the page, the re-check date is updated, and material errors are noted rather than quietly rewritten. See the editorial policy for how to reach us.
The data is open
