Our take
Sorare is fantasy sports built on NFT player cards — football (soccer), NBA and MLB — with official licenses from hundreds of clubs and leagues, which puts its production polish well above the Web3 norm. It runs in a normal browser tab, and starting is free: new managers get common cards and can enter free competitions without buying anything. Scores come from real-world match performances, and the game itself advertises prizes in rare cards and ETH for paid-tier leagues. The Paris-based company is one of the best-funded in the space (a $680M round in 2021). Honest caveats: chasing prizes seriously means buying cards on its marketplace, prize claims are Sorare's own, and our cashout test has not verified a payout yet.
