How to play Gamlet Charts

Gamlet Charts shows you twelve months of a real coin's price action — stripped of its name, ticker, axis values and everything else. Your job: name the coin in six guesses. One chart per day, the same for everyone, new at your local midnight.

The rules

• Type a coin name or ticker — the search box only accepts real coins from the pool (top ~300 by market cap, minus stablecoins and wrapped clones).
• Every wrong guess earns feedback: whether your guess's sector matches (green / near-miss yellow / gray) and whether the answer's market cap is higher ⬆️ or lower ⬇️ than your guess.
• Wrong guesses also unlock hints, in order: market-cap tier, launch year, sector, first letter of the ticker.
• Solve it and the chart re-renders with real axes and the coin's name — the payoff.

Strategy

• Read the shape first: a monster run-up with a brutal drawdown smells like a meme coin; a slow grind up usually isn't.
• Open with a mid-cap guess — the ⬆️/⬇️ market-cap arrow instantly halves the pool.
• Weekday answers lean top-100 (Mondays top-10); weekends can go deeper. Calibrate accordingly.
• Mind the hint ladder: guessing again before reading the new hint is how streaks die.
